Independent universities. Honorary doctorates in Poland during the 1918-1939 period – exhibition, catalog, and a concert featuring the music of Ignacy Jan Paderewski

We cordially invite you to the grand opening of the “Independent universities. Honorary doctorates in Poland during the 1918-1939 period” exhibition which will occur on November 16^th, 2018 at 2:00 pm, and will be held in Warsaw at the building of the Old Library of the University of Warsaw (26/28 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street). The exhibition will be open to the public until the end of November – at the hall of the Old Library building – and until November 15^th, on location, at 32 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street, before the entrance of the Museum of the University of Warsaw.

The exhibition was organized with the participation of institutions making up the Association of University Museums including the Museum of the UW, Museum of the Technical University of Warsaw, Museum of the University of Wrocław, Museum of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Nicolaus Copernicus University Museum, and Warsaw Medical University Museum of the History of Medicine with support from the University of Warsaw and the National Digital Archives.

Additional funding was provided by the Multiannual NIEPODLEGŁA (INDEPENDENT) Program for the years 2017-2022, a part of the “Niepodległa” Grant Program.
