Ministerstwo Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego przyznało dotacje w ramach programu Wspieranie działań muzealnych. Pierwszy na liście, z największą liczbą punktów dofinansowanie otrzymał projekt Stowarzyszenia Muzeów Uczelnianych. Kwota dofinansowania to 141 500 zł. Projekt „TREASURES OF THE POLISH UNIVERSITY HERITAGE” zakłada opracowanie i wydanie drukiem, w języku angielskim, katalogu najcenniejszych obiektów ze 102 jednostek muzealnych polskich uczelni wyższych. Wszystkim członkom dziękujemy za ich wkład i pomoc, jest to zasługa wszystkich członków SMU działających na rzecz dziedzictwa akademickiego w Polsce. Projekt trwa do 31 grudnia 2020 roku.

Projekt „TREASURES OF THE POLISH UNIVERSITY HERITAGE” dofinansowano ze środków Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego pochodzących z Funduszu Promocji Kultury, uzyskanych z dopłat ustanowionych w grach objętych monopolem państwa, zgodnie z art. 80 ust. 1 ustawy z dnia 19 listopada 2009 r. o grach hazardowych”.

The Association of University Museums makes the society aware of the importance of academic heritage as an important determinant of national identity. The most important goal of the Association is to develop university museums and preserve academic heritage through its protection, dissemination, promotion, as well as to support the collection, documentation and conservation of monuments, to initiation and conduction scientific research. A wide range of information activities is carried out, promoting the idea of university museums in Poland and abroad. In connection with the activity of the Association of University Museums, there is a need to document the systematic work and passion of the university museum community in the form of the following publications: “University Museums”, ed. H. Kowalski, M. Grassmann, M. Bukowski; “University Museum in Poland”, ed. H. Kowalski, M. Grassmann, M. Bukowski, Warsaw 2016; K. Pomian, “Museums and nations in Central Europe”, Warsaw 2016; “University Museums. Catalogue” ed. H. Kowalski, M. Grassmann, M. Bukowski, M. Piszczatowska, J. Ślaga, Warsaw 2017.
Moreover, in 2020 the Association of University Museums is implementing the project “TREASURES OF THE POLISH UNIVERSITY HERITAGE”. This project assumes the development and publication in English of a catalogue of the most valuable objects from 102 museum units of Polish universities. The project will also create a website in English. The official promotion of the catalogue will take place on December 16th, 2020 in the Warsaw University Museum.
The project “TREASURES OF THE POLISH UNIVERSITY HERITAGE” has been co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund.
